I love being in the country. So nice escaping the city! If only I had brought appropriate clothing. Leather ballerinas and denim cut-offs was maybe not the best idea…
I am wearing cargo and leather jacket from Urban Outfitters, vintage denim shorts, jumper from Selected Femme, ballerinas from Euphoria Bailerinas and sunglasses from Lindex.
Although the sun has stopped shining (god, I hate this ‘summer’ weather), I was detemined to wear shorts this morning. So I jumped in an old favourite: my silk jumpsuit from H&M Trend, together with a Jil Sander cape, Zara sequin clutch and new Topshop sunnies (note: I was also determined to wear sunglasses).

My boyfriend’s away so my trusted Photo Booth will have to take my outfit pictures for today! I didn’t expect sun when I left home this morning, so during the day I picked up these gorgeous, clear retro inspired sunnies from Topshop (£12.99). I am afraid I couldn’t find them online, but I picked up mine from the Oxford Street store.
I am wearing my sunnies with a Zara maxi skirt (used as a dress), Michael Kors watch and a selection of jewellery from Tiffany’s.

London is beaming hot, just hope it lasts! I’m escaping the city this weekend, but staying put in the UK (or at least for the next few weeks) . We’re off to the seaside – can’t wait!
My second purchase from Bimba & Lola were these amazing tan suede heels (£72/reduced from £140). I love my heels, but I’m not very good with too high of a heel. These are the perfect height and feel comfy (so far!). I am in love with tan heels at the moment – my poor favourites from Dries Van Noten are in desperate need of some rest, and I think I just found the perfect replacement. Get them here.
Style Tip: Tan heels are the perfect lengthening ‘tool’. Wear a short bottom to show off those pins – just remember to balance it out by covering up on the top.

I popped into Bimba & Lola this afternoon, one of my all-time favourite boutiques. They opened their first store in Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush, six months ago – oh the joy when I found that out! This Spanish shop is just divine, filled with killer accessories, leather goods, shoes and amazing RTW. I managed to bag a couple of pieces with me from the sale (happy!).
One of the purchases were these gorgeous multicoloured studded earrings (£26/reduced from £38). How amazing aren’t they? Such a statement piece. Love love love. Get them here.

I topped up on my favourite terrocotta bronzer from Guerlain at Tax Free coming over (TF price/£27 – Online/£33.50). It’s the perfect bronzer, it’s soft and lasts for hours. As I am quite tanned at the moment, I have bought shade 04 – which is very dark and bronzed. Normally, I would go for shade 03 for a softer and warmer look.

On another note I’m still slowly recovering from the wedding – the preparations started 8am and we trotted to bed at 5am after finishing off with a bonfire and dancing on the beach. An incredibly, memorable day. We’re on our way back to London now, settling into normality and a super busy week. Have a great Monday everyone!

It was the most idyllic and memorable day.
I’m back in Norway with my family, helping preparing for my sister’s big day on the 23rd June. She’s getting married at our summer house by the sea – and the setting and style won’t be far off from the pictures collated above. Whimsical, bohemian and romantic.
