When I’m feeling slightly grey, un-inspired, lifeless… I log onto my favourite websites for all things style, colour and real-life (well, as real as it can be in this pretty world of fashion).

Tommy Ton from style blog JAK & JIL is a pure genius when it comes to snapping up street style, and one of my favourite sources of inspiration. He manages to capture textures, facial expressions, postures and life passing by, like none other.

Hope you enjoy this sudden spurt of inspiration as much as I did – it was much needed on my behalf, on this grey Tuesday evening!

NEW IN // SALE! Accessorize Animal Print Leather Sandals

A last minute purchase before the high street sales are over… These cute leather and leopard printed sandals from Accessorize (£9.99, reduced from £19.99). Such a steal! I’ve been after some similar ones from Zara, which seem to be sold out everywhere. I love the style and shape, and never one being afraid of prints or matching - I’ve paired them with my Current/Elliot skinnies for a take on the double animal print trend.

The only negative is that the sole is rather thin, which is not great for long distance walking. They’ll also probably only last one or two seasons – but who can complain when they’re only a tenner?

[LIFESTYLE] 50 Shades Darker & Freed

As mentioned, I ordered the remaining parts of the the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy the other day, and I’m already half way through! I’ve rarely been this obsessed with a book series – well not since Harry Potter (yes, HUGE fan) and Twilight.

I’m dreading to think what I’ll do when I’m done… Any book recommendations are most welcome!

I love anything brightly coloured, especially neon lime – and especially furry angora! Hence my joy with my new jumper from Danish brand Selected Femme. The perfect knit for the summer transition into Autumn (can you believe it’s end of July already?). Well I for one can’t wait for the fall season to properly arrive… I’m already dreaming of yummy knits, leather pants and wool coats!

I have wanted the Anouck shoes from Alexander Wang since they first came out. I just find it hard justifying paying £350 for a pair of boots. It’s funny that, as I don’t hesitate when it comes to investing in bags (which are very often triple the price).

This time around, I might just start saving for them. They’re such an investment piece and the quality is amazing.

[BEAUTY] Philip Kingsley PK4 Hair Dietry Supplement

My hair is in desperate need of some tender love and care – especially some thickness and growth, after too much sun exposure and salt water. I was recommended these Soya Protein capsules from Philip Kingsley, P4K Hair (£18.70). As you can read above the tablets enhances the production of Keratin (protein) to help grow your hair stronger and fuller. Just what I need!

I have to admit I hate taking tablets, and these ones in particular are a tad too big for my liking. However I have heard so much amazing about this product, I will have to succumb to my fear in exchange for (hopefully) full and glossy hair. A review will follow – watch this space.

I am sure most of you might have gathered I love anything studded; be it on a silk shirt, denim shorts or jewellery. I was pretty proud of myself when I only bought one thing whilst on holiday in Italy. Well two – these amazing leather gold studded bracelets (€5 each) in dark blue and pastel pink, from a local boutique in Riccione.

They look great stacked up with all my arm candy bling, or simply on their own! Love.

I am wearing them with my two-tone Michael Kors watch, silver bracelets from Tiffany’s, ChloBo and various friendship bracelets.

[LIFESTYLE] 50 Shades of Grey by E L James

Yes, I’m probably pretty late on this one, but I finally succumbed to all the hype and bought 50 Shades of Grey, by E L James (from £3.79). I don’t care what the critics say; yes, it’s not exactly Shakespeare, but it’s highly entertaining and incredibly addictive. I got it the other day when I went to Italy and I was finished reading it after a few days on the beach! Now that’s saying something…

I’ve just clicked home 50 Shades of Darker and 50 Shades of Freed from Amazon. I can’t wait to continue reading the trilogy!
