[FASHION] STOLEN LBD

I’ve been fortunate enough to have been chosen as one of STOLEN‘s blogger ambassadors for their ‘I Stole Paris’ online campaign. STOLEN is a Singaporean cult label, which is entering into the European market this season, showcasing their first collection during Paris Fashion Week.

STOLEN was created in 2007 by Elyn Wong. The brand has received a high level of recognition due it’s artistic implication and conceptual style. Marked by the signature bareback (as seen in the dress I am wearing above), STOLEN pieces form the curves of a woman’s sensuality with the strength of geometric architecture.

I love the fit and feminine feel to the dress – it’s oversized, yet flattering, with the scooped back. I also love the contrast of the more structured front side of the dress, combined with the slinky and soft back. You all know that I love contrasts! It’s the perfect LBD.

I wouldn’t mind any of these pieces in my wardrobe at the moment. Coincidentally a lot of red, which is maybe my least favourite colour, and now suddenly it’s all I’m craving (along with the standard black, white and grey, of course).

[FASHION] Bijoux by Desi F Moon & Star Necklace

Another beautiful and precious piece added to my jewellery collection from designer Bijoux by Desi F. When I initially bought the ‘A’ initial stamp necklace (also from Bijoux by Desi F) – I loved it on it’s own. Then I fell for this moon & star silver and 18k gold filled chain, and I just couldn’t resist getting another one! It’s so dainty and unique.

I also love Desi’s packaging, which comes in these cute boxes with colourful ribbons and always with a personalized message. It means so much more than just a mass produced box with a standard note!

[FASHION] H&M Divided Floral Bomber Jacket

Apologies for the delay, but here comes the first of my purchases from New York. Yet another jacket from H&M! Yes, I know it’s boring going into a H&M when in New York – as there are so many other interesting options. But as I mentioned, I didn’t really end up shopping, just a last minute shopping spree on our last day. Not that I’m not pleased – with the exchange rate, H&M was half the price!

I love this silk bomber in this multi-coloured floral print! It brightens up any outfit and adds an element of fun to an all-black ensemble. From H&M Divided, $29.

I’m loving pink at the moment! With my ever growing nail polish collection, I have been looking for a cute little pouch to keep them all in. I found this gorgeous leather and suede purse from Pieces. I love the colour combination – fuchsia pink and peach with gold zips – and I love that it just as easily can be used as a clutch. I love multi-funcitional items; always a great investment!

[FASHION] SALE! ASOS Lace T-shirt Dress

One of my favourite outfits from New York, on our way to The Standard Hotel – was wearing this amazing neon lace dress from ASOS. It was love at first sight, after spotting it on my friend Natalie Hughes’s blog from Canned Fashion. It’s stunning, good quality (cotton lace over a white slip dress) and the colour combination is amazing – neon pink, orange, white and navy.

Be aware that it’s very long – I actually had to shorten it quite a lot – but other than it was perfect. I only wish I spotted it earlier in the spring and summer season!

Get it from ASOS, now reduced to only £20. A steal!

[FASHION] H&M Trend Printed Jacket

The final purchase from Copenhagen (sorry for the delay!), was this beautiful, printed jacket from H&M Trend (£59). It was love at first sight, and I have worn it just about everyday since I bought it last weekend. I love the print, colours and shape, and I especially like the fray detailing on the the ends, giving it a more bohemian look.

I’ve been wearing it all weekend in New York as well – over dresses in the evening, or just with casual denim shorts. Another new wardrobe favourite!

Speaking of New York. I didn’t shop as much as expected – we ended up spending the days walking around the West & East Village, Chelsea, Meatpacking District – strolling through beautiful leafy streets, sipping ice coffees (it was boiling), going to markets and eating a lot. I did however manage to pick up a few bits – I will show you in the next few days.

For you guys who follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you will probably know that this weekend was exceptionally special to me – and needless to say I am thrilled. I will show you more pictures from my New York trip on my weekly ‘Insta-Week’ update tomorrow.

[FASHION] ADAX Electric Blue Woven Clutch

First of all, I didn’t mean to look so grumpy in all of the pictures!

Anyways, here is the wonderful clutch I bought when I was in Copenhagen. It’s brand new, but I actually bought it at a vintage market stall. This one girl who was selling, had so much amazing stuff for grabs (also a fashion blogger) – there was a camel suede Gestuz jacket I am very much regretting I didn’t get…

The clutch, from Danish accessories brand ADAX, is woven in butter soft leather. The colour is gorgeous, and goes with just about everything believe it or not. It really makes a big difference to an outfit. It also comes with a detachable handle, but I prefer it just as a clutch. Definitely a new wardrobe favourite!

On another note, I am off to New York today! I don’t know if you remember this post, telling you about my trip (a birthday present from the b-friend)? Anyways, we were originally staying at Soho House, but a while back they told us they were doing some maintenance work during our stay. So we decided to move hotels to The Bowery Hotel in East Village, which in aftermath I have heard is even better! Check it out here. I am SO excited!
