Spring is in the air, and my love for flats and ballerinas in all colours and combination, is revived. First ballerina pair in? These gorgeous gold leather flats bought at TK Maxx (a great British designer discount outlet) from London Rebel.

The first thing which is essential when searching for good flat shoes, is the shape. I am particular about many things when it comes to my own style; one of them being the shape of my shoes. I never go for anything too bulky or heavy – always with a slim line/almond shape fit. I like my feet to look petite, and not being the centre of attention (this is excluding killer heels – I never mind these to be colourful or ‘loud’ – yet I also like these pretty slim, hence strappy sandals are my favourite).

So, I guess I just let you in on one of my many particular and ‘weird’ things I have about my fashion (I am sure there is more to come!). Now over to the main subject of this post - the gold ballerina beauties. Such a simple pair of shoes, yet effective and super versatile. Wear them with a relaxed outfit or a blazer, add on some great jewellery and a statement bag, and it’s the perfect casual office/weekend outfit!

After a very long winter and a slow spring (well, non-existent really), I was glad to step off the plane yesterday, and breath in fresh and warm (ish) air. I’m not sure I am quite ready to bear any legs just yet - I might wait until after Croatia to show off these white pins – I’m still lusting for a real statement skirt to wear very soon. This one above from Topshop sure does the trick (and what a steal price!). Teamed with the perfect black strappy sandals (and I mean – these are perfect) and Acne’s white leather biker jacket (to-die-for) – I am ready for SPRING. Don’t forget to add on some WOW accessories (check out ASOS for some amazing tribal prints) and some bling – both of which are fail safe outfit additions!

Loving my fab new monochrome sunglasses from Zara (can we just talk about how amazing Zara is this season?). I was pretty happy with myself that I resisted the temptation to pick up anything else other than these. Great shape and style – going to be a strong contender within my sunglasses collection (and a bargain alternative to these ones from Illesteva, which I’ve been lusting after all season). Yes, granted, I do like classic and clean shapes for longevity (like in this post) – but when I want some fun, who can say no to a pair priced at under twenty pounds? A steal.

I’m currently in Denmark with work at brand meetings. Long days requires comfort (to some extent) and I am currently in love with loose fitted cotton shirts, skinny jeans and my biker boots (adding on some shiny jewellery to make it a bit more ‘dressy’). I am also crazy with tie dye (well, I’ve kind of always had a weakness for this trend), and this one by Vero Moda is pure perfection in navy and baby blue. Love!

You all know I’m weak for a lil’ leopard. In just about every variation, colour and style. It’s such a versatile print (that goes for all animal print in my opinion) – great to lift an otherwise dark and muted outfit. This shirt from Selected Femme, in 100% viscose, is a great shirt and fit – worn her with some leather and booties, but having every intention in wearing it with some high waisted denim flares now that the sun’s out!

[INSPIRATION] Nike Free Run

Ok, so I am on this trend again. You guys might recall this outfit post a few weeks back, wearing my new Nike Free Run together with a ‘normal’ outfit (not for gym or commuting). I got some nice comments, and not so positive (which I enjoyed reading nevertheless!). I love your feedback and comments – what I think works, might not work for someone else – and I don’t shy away from hearing it!

Anyways, back to these Nike Free Run trainers. Yes, as stated in the name, they are technically trainers made for running. But I have fallen in love with the style and colour, and think they work for everyday use as well – always teamed with some kind of leather, be it trousers, fringe or a patent skirt.

Tip: Make sure to add on some key accessories such as a statement necklace, clutch or oversized earrings/bangles. Adding on those extra elements will make this outfit what it is (and hopefully not just for commuting) – which I agree, can be a very fine line.

SHINE bright like a diamond… Say hello to my new cargo jacket from Vila! Similar to this one from Boohoo, but in my eyes, that bit more subtle and versatile for every day use. I like the oversized fit, which looks great with skinny jeans and my favourite biker boots. A simple classic style, but just never seems to fail. Adding on some shiny accessories such as a chrome watch and large silver hoops – pulls the outfit together, making it less casual.

I was très excited for the launch of H&M Group’s new brand, & Other Stories. Being a huge fan of it’s sister label, COS – my expectations were high, and I am happy (and relieved) to say, it did not dissapoint. I say relieved, meaning I have a new shop to add to my ‘favourites’ roster (my bank balance – not so much). Although, it won’t break the bank – there was just too much I wanted (no surprise there).

As I was in a rush in between appointments, I only managed to pick one pair of shoes. And oh my – they’re shoe collection was a highlight. As was their make-up counter, lingerie and clothing section – yes everything. I can see where this is going. Well, until next time, I will leave you with these amazing canvas and leather kitten heels. To me, the perfect height for an ‘everyday’ shoe – which is something I am always searching after (I have far too many party/unbearable/can’t-walk-in-shoes in the closet). These are a much welcoming pair to add to my collection!

I love Hunter. I always have – it epitomises everything that the UK does well, and is very good at playing on; heritage. So needless to say, I was pretty honoured to take part in their Blogger Style Series – featuring a few selected bloggers in the UK & New York! Shot by the incredibly talented street style photographer, Jessie Bush, in the bustling (and freezing Soho) – I was wearing the gorgeous Hunter Regent Savoy’s. I already have a few pairs in various colours of the original Hunter boot – but I really fell for the slick and slimmer shape of this one. I adore the quilting, making them that bit more unique than a regular wellie – and I love that they are glossy back, making them smart enough to wear in the city (and perfect for this current London weather!).
