[FASHION] SALE! Zara Black Panelled Jacquard Top

I love contrasts, so when wearing an all-black ensemble, I often tend to add a pop colour or a ‘wow’ accessory to lift the overall look. In this case, I did both. Together with my new panelled jacquard top from Zara, I jumped into one of my favourite orange coats from Vero Moda Very, as well as pairing it all together with my new killer heels from REISS. Why not?

I love my new top from Zara; I adore the ‘t-shirt’ boxy shape and the pannelled patterns. It will look great for a daytime ‘office’ look – with a skirt or jeans, or for a night out with tailored pants or some leather skinny pants. You all know I’m a big fan of black, but I always try to source out the more unique pieces with texture or shape when opting for this shade. In this piece, I have both.

[FASHION] H&M Trend Fitted Crepe Jacket

You just can’t go wrong with a black, tailored jacket. It’s just so easy to dress up and down – always adding some sense of structure and smart elements to the overall look. This beauty of a jacket from H&M Trend, certainly does just that! I love the slight peplum shape to the jacket, adding more feminity to the style. H&M Trend is one of my favourite haunts for unique additions to my wardrobe. Although the jacket is a pretty simple piece – it has the right shape and cut, to make it a real ‘statement’ piece.

[FASHION] STOLEN LBD

I’ve been fortunate enough to have been chosen as one of STOLEN‘s blogger ambassadors for their ‘I Stole Paris’ online campaign. STOLEN is a Singaporean cult label, which is entering into the European market this season, showcasing their first collection during Paris Fashion Week.

STOLEN was created in 2007 by Elyn Wong. The brand has received a high level of recognition due it’s artistic implication and conceptual style. Marked by the signature bareback (as seen in the dress I am wearing above), STOLEN pieces form the curves of a woman’s sensuality with the strength of geometric architecture.

I love the fit and feminine feel to the dress – it’s oversized, yet flattering, with the scooped back. I also love the contrast of the more structured front side of the dress, combined with the slinky and soft back. You all know that I love contrasts! It’s the perfect LBD.

I’m off to Denmark today with work, then spending the weekend with my best friend in Copenhagen. Can’t wait to see her and have a proper girly weekend, in one of my all-time favourite cities. I’m not disappearing though – I have some great buys that I’ll be uploading throughout the weekend, so stay tuned!

WISH LIST // Alexander Wang Anouck Chelsea Boots

I have wanted the Anouck shoes from Alexander Wang since they first came out. I just find it hard justifying paying £350 for a pair of boots. It’s funny that, as I don’t hesitate when it comes to investing in bags (which are very often triple the price).

This time around, I might just start saving for them. They’re such an investment piece and the quality is amazing.

[OUTFIT] Birthday Girl In Black

Another rainy day, resorting in an all-black outfit with colourful accessories. This is definitely my fail-safe outfit; black skinny jeans, a tank top, killer heels and a pop colour clutch.

I am wearing skinny jeans from J Brand, netting tank top from COS, tan heels from Dries Van Noten, leather jacket from Zara, plastic clutch from ASOS, Proenza Schouler tribal bracelet and new Pandora rings.

My birthday celebrations were so much fun! Dinner and drinks with the best girls at Del’Aziz, an amazing Moroccan restaurant, which also make dangerously yummy cocktails, hence my suffering today. Well worth it though!

Well hello there Miu Miu, you beauty.

What more could one wish for in a wallet? Perfect size, enough compartments to store notes, coins, cards – amazing quality and just classic in every way, shape and form - which is always the best way when it comes to investment buys.

I got mine in-store (£240) but you can get similar ones in various styles and colours from here.

[FASHION] Selected Homme Knitted Jumper

I have just found perfection in a sweater. I’ve been after an oversized ‘boyfriend’ style, cotton cable knit for ages – and I managed to literally find just that from Selected’s Homme, £45 (Selected’s men’s department). Granted it’s massive and is more like a sweater dress, but it’s just perfect, and exactly what I was after. (As always, Marvin, my French Bulldog, likes to make an appearance.)

I am wearing it with my COS leggings, Topshop suede studded slippers, Alberta Ferreti sunglasses, Tiffany necklace and Michael Kors watch.
