[OUTFIT] Grey Marl & Leather

Sometimes (actually, rather often) – all I want to wear is a grey sweat jumper. In order to not look too casual, I always try to add some more ‘dressed up’ elements, such as a leather jacket and some height on my feet (the Acne ‘Pistol’ rarely leaves my sight). Another way to dress up a basic sweat jumper, is adding glam jewellery such as over-the-top chandelier earrings, making the look more feminine and soft. Love this look! I am also still obsessed with my bargain buy sunglasses from Zara – they seem to brighten up any outfit, adding that slight edge to an otherwise simple and clean look.

On another note…by the time you’re reading this, I’ve landed in Split (Croatia) – hopefully relaxing in the sun. Our plans for the long weekend is to look at various wedding venues, in Split and the surrounding islands. So exciting! I will of course report back as soon as I’m back in London.

Wellies from Hunter Regent Savoy, £125.

I love Hunter. I always have – it epitomises everything that the UK does well, and is very good at playing on; heritage. So needless to say, I was pretty honoured to take part in their Blogger Style Series – featuring a few selected bloggers in the UK & New York! Shot by the incredibly talented street style photographer, Jessie Bush, in the bustling (and freezing Soho) – I was wearing the gorgeous Hunter Regent Savoy’s. I already have a few pairs in various colours of the original Hunter boot – but I really fell for the slick and slimmer shape of this one. I adore the quilting, making them that bit more unique than a regular wellie – and I love that they are glossy back, making them smart enough to wear in the city (and perfect for this current London weather!).

[FASHION] Céline Tan Boots

Needless to say I just about died when I found these stunning Céline tan leather boots from TK Maxx – my favorite discount outlet. I am quite a patient shopper and good at rummaging through endless rails of clothes and shoe racks, and this time it definitely paid off. These shoes, originally costing over £500 – I bagged for just £89! Can you believe my luck? SO HAPPY.

Being Céline, they are of course made from gorgeous thick Italian leather, have a nice zip detailing running all the way on the back and a chunky wooden heel. They are the perfect 70s style boots I have been looking for and they will work just as well in the winter, as well as in the summer with a floral dress!
