[FASHION] H&M Trend Wool & Silk Printed Jumper

I picked up this fab jumper whilst browsing through Primrose Hill, one of my favourite areas in London. I found it in Mary Portas’s second hand shop, although it turned out to be brand new with the tag on! As you all know, I love a good statement jumper, to bring life to an otherwise muted and plain outfit. The jumper is made from beautiful silk and wool, and definitely going to be a wardrobe favourite for a good while!

[FASHION] H&M Trend Fitted Crepe Jacket

You just can’t go wrong with a black, tailored jacket. It’s just so easy to dress up and down – always adding some sense of structure and smart elements to the overall look. This beauty of a jacket from H&M Trend, certainly does just that! I love the slight peplum shape to the jacket, adding more feminity to the style. H&M Trend is one of my favourite haunts for unique additions to my wardrobe. Although the jacket is a pretty simple piece – it has the right shape and cut, to make it a real ‘statement’ piece.

The final purchase from Copenhagen (sorry for the delay!), was this beautiful, printed jacket from H&M Trend (£59). It was love at first sight, and I have worn it just about everyday since I bought it last weekend. I love the print, colours and shape, and I especially like the fray detailing on the the ends, giving it a more bohemian look.

I’ve been wearing it all weekend in New York as well – over dresses in the evening, or just with casual denim shorts. Another new wardrobe favourite!

I am wearing it with my COS top, J Brand jeans, Filippa K heels, A J Morgan sunglasses, YSL Cabas tote and Bijoux by Desi F necklace.

Speaking of New York. I didn’t shop as much as expected – we ended up spending the days walking around the West & East Village, Chelsea, Meatpacking District – strolling through beautiful leafy streets, sipping ice coffees (it was boiling), going to markets and eating a lot. I did however manage to pick up a few bits – I will show you in the next few days.

For you guys who follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you will probably know that this weekend was exceptionally special to me – and needless to say I am thrilled. I will show you more pictures from my New York trip on my weekly ‘Insta-Week’ update tomorrow.

I love the combination of a feminine draped top with an all-black outfit and leather jacket. Nothing ground breaking about it, just comfortable and classic – understated is sometimes so underrated.

Picture taken earlier on in the week on our way to Nermans, an amazing restaurant in the hills of Nuevo Andalucia (10 minutes from Puerto Banus). Amazing food and wine. Actually going back there tonight for our last night in Spain… Will be very sad to leave, but I have so much to look forward to when I’m back! Good times.

[FASHION] H&M Black Scuba Style Top

I bought this black scuba style top from H&M Trend (£29.99) to wear on Saturday night. I fell in love with the shape and material - it’s really flattering as it enhances the waist. I was planning on wearing it with my leather skirt and some black tights (as pictured above), but I actually ended up opting for some black, waxed skinny jeans, killer heels and a high ponytail (I had to rush out the door – no picture I am afraid!).

Keep it slim at the bottom with the focus on the waist. Classic.

[FASHION] Sale! H&M Trend Red Dress

Hope you all have had a nice weekend so far? I was a good girl and didn’t drink last night – it’s amazing how really good food can take away the craving for alcohol. Not to mention how nice it was not waking up to a banging headache.

I popped into the H&M store in High Street Kensington earlier today (one of the few stores in London which stock the H&M Trend collection). The new season pieces from Trend is amazing – neon coloured knits, tailored pants and textured tops and skirts. Although I didn’t actually buy anything from this particular collection, I managed to find this cute red dress on sale for £15 (reduced from £24.99)! I love the ‘sport-luxe’ feel of the dress, with the racerback and stretchy-viscose material. I can’t wait to wear this with some sandals and a nice tan in the summer!
