[OUTFIT] Grey Marl & Leather

Sometimes (actually, rather often) – all I want to wear is a grey sweat jumper. In order to not look too casual, I always try to add some more ‘dressed up’ elements, such as a leather jacket and some height on my feet (the Acne ‘Pistol’ rarely leaves my sight). Another way to dress up a basic sweat jumper, is adding glam jewellery such as over-the-top chandelier earrings, making the look more feminine and soft. Love this look! I am also still obsessed with my bargain buy sunglasses from Zara – they seem to brighten up any outfit, adding that slight edge to an otherwise simple and clean look.

On another note…by the time you’re reading this, I’ve landed in Split (Croatia) – hopefully relaxing in the sun. Our plans for the long weekend is to look at various wedding venues, in Split and the surrounding islands. So exciting! I will of course report back as soon as I’m back in London.

New in this fierce roaring lion printed jumper from Vero Moda. I love the bright colours, with the black sleeves (not shown here – it was too cold to take my jacket off!). Worn here with an all-black outfit, really makes the print stand out, and ‘cleans’ out the overall look. Also, so nice to have my wardrobe back – one being my trusted Acne Pistol booties. I have forgotten how comfortable they are!

On another note, England’s been freezing cold, with minus degrees, snow blizzards and ice cold winds. Does not feel like the beginning of spring… Counting down the weeks until I head off to Croatia in the beginning of May! Can’t wait. Have a lovely Sunday evening everyone!

[FASHION] SALE! Massimo Dutti Navy & Black Knitted Jumper

Ok, granted this may be a purchase which many might class as ‘boring’ – nevertheless, a very useful buy, one of which I can see myself wearing a lot. When I say a lot – I mean this single navy/black combo knit (wool/acrylic/cashmere mix), will look great together with so many pieces in my existing wardrobe (which is always useful); such as leather pants, leather mini skirt, denim jeans, printed skirt, over a white shirt, etc.

What I’m basically trying to say is, never underestimate the power of a good knit.

I first showed you a sneek peek of this jumper in my ‘snaphots’ gallery a few weeks back – I’ve been so manic and running on a back log (in every aspect of my life it seems) – better late than never I guess!

Anyways, this Vero Moda jumper has barely left my sight since I got it (love the ‘A’!). I am so into my sweats and casual jumpers at the moment; I love wearing it with leather or mini skirts and boots. This one’s made from soft cotton and I especially like how loose and comfy it is (all about comfort for me these days). As it’s so casual, it’s important that you compensate with something slim and feminine on the bottom part – even add a little heel if you want! And who can argue with £22?

[FASHION] COS Grey Knitted Jumper Dress

I love my new grey knitted jumper dress from COS. Made from 100% chunky wool, it’s needless to say super warm, and the quality from COS is as always superb. Although the jumper dress is a size Small – it’s still rather big and oversized, so it’s key to add some slim jeans or leggings, and some height with boots.

I’ve been after after some black knee-high boots this season, real 70′s style. That would look great paired with this wool dress, layered with a chunky scarf. Definitely a key look for me this winter!

Beautiful, fuzzy knits are high on my wish list at the moment. I am just about always cold, so the need for warm jumpers are imminent during the winter months. There are so many beautiful ones on the high street now, and this gorgeous, fuzzy two-tone knit from Selected Femme, is no exception. Paired with some skinny jeans, boots and a statement bag – this is the perfect office to Christmas drinks outfit. Love it!

[FASHION] Zara Stripe Mohair & Wool Jumper

I love jumpers and I love stripes. This one reminds me of the Isabel Marant Etoile mohair jumper from a few seasons ago (which I’ve always liked the look off, together with leather pants). It’s been a crisp and cold weekend, so my priority was to find warm, fuzzy jumpers. I can see this one will be a wardrobe favourite – I just hope it keeps it’s fit and soft quality (made from a mohair, wool and acrylic mix).

I’ve had a lovely weekend with two of my closest Norwegian friends who are visiting – we’ve been across all of London; Christmas market in Covent Garden, drinking Margarita’s in Soho, vintage shopping in Notting Hill, dinner and drinks in Shoreditch House, strolling through Regents Park, pub lunch in Primrose Hill, evening stroll through Southwark, and more. So in other words, we covered quite a lot! Now, getting ready for a busy week ahead. Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

[FASHION] Topshop Reverse Camo Sweat

You might remember my wish list post for this Topshop jumper a while back? Needless to say, I was thrilled to find it back in stock in my size the other day. And even more ecstatic when it arrived, as it’s truly perfect. I say this, as I love a good jumper, as it is, along with skinny jeans, the most worn pieces in my wardrobe. I love the rugged and washed cotton, and the shape and colour is perfect. I can see myself wearing this all winter, especially with booties and leather for a more edgy look.

[FASHION] Lipstick & Lollipop Cable Knit Stud Jumper

My gorgeous and talented friend Natalie has just started her own online fashion store called Lipstick & Lollipop, and I went straight on and clicked home this beauty of a jumper. You all know by now I am a sucker for a good knit – often with that little extra, like with the gold studs on this one. I love the colour and shape – it’s the perfect Sunday jumper, but will work just as well with some heels and skinny jeans to the office (the kind of office I work in at least).
