I have found the perfect loafers from & Other Stories. Black satin & suede with sturdy tan soles – super chic and goes with everything!

I love finding dressy alternatives to heels; these will look great with some skinny jeans, a shirt and a blazer, for a more dressed up occasion – as well as together with a simple tee and shorts for the summer. Yet another great find from & Other Stories!

Dubbed the ‘blogger skirt’ (or ‘skort’ to be precise – skirt and shorts in-one) – I guess I succumbed to the hype as well. I don’t normally go for anything overly ‘on-trend’; the shape is just so damn flattering and easy to wear! I’ve literally not stopped putting it on – with everything from on a night out with heels and shirt, to a casual weekend look with a grey-marl t-shirt and sandals. I can sense it will no doubt be my most worn wardrobe piece this summer – I might have to get the white version as well…

Following on from my Top 10 Wardrobe Essentials post – one of the key pieces on there, was a blazer. Granted, one would think a black blazer would be the wiser choice, but after spotting this perfection of a jacket in tan; I’ve literally not stopped wearing it. It’s just so versatile; so far I have worn it with denim shorts and sandals, boyfriend jeans and heels, leather pants and various dresses.

Yesterday, I went to Newbury races – and even wore it with a navy/turquoise paisley silk dress – an interesting and maybe not so obvious colour combo, but it still really worked! So the new LBB (little black blazer) is now the LTB (in my wardrobe anyways).

As you can see, I was in a very good mood (don’t think I’ve ever been pictured on the blog smiling so much!). I was reunited with my friend who I haven’t seen for far too long – yet still felt like I saw her just the other day… We were so engrossed in catching up – we didn’t even get around doing much betting, just enjoyed champagne, Pimms and good chat in the sun (oh, and a Rita Ora gig in the evening courtesy of my fiancé.) In other words, a pretty perfect Saturday.

Ok, I admit – I have a massive addiction to ALL embroidered things (basically, anything remotely bohemian, summery and romantic). I guess, I am a big fan of summer clothes in general – they make me happy. Like now, when the heat has finally hit London, and I’m enjoying running around in my favourite boyfriend jeans, snakeskin heels, and this amazing loose fitted shirt from the wonderful Urban Outfitters (which is the perfect place for the boho trend at the moment).

I love the colour combination of this one, and made from soft cotton, it’s the perfect summer shirt – both for the office, or a more relaxed look for the weekend.

I ordered these beauties from one of my all-time favourite brands, Bimba & Lola, quite a while ago, but I only just recently picked them up. And perfect timing for spring (well, we hope). I love a bit of snakeskin, and I adore mustard yellow – so it’s the perfect combination! The heel height is also ideal for me, meaning; they are actually walkable.

I have gone all out in terms of mixing textures and prints in this outfit, but it still works – as I’m keeping the colours scheme together with the orange/yellow tones vs. the blue/turquoise/green.

New in are these gorgeous aqua blue earrings from Bijoux by Desi F. Turquoise isn’t really my colour (when it comes to clothing), but I have a weakness for it when it comes to jewellery. It really brightens up an outfit and makes it pretty easy to play around with other colours, such as I’ve done with the khaki colour. In small doses, it’s fab!

[FASHION] Zara Quilted Leather Biker Jacket

I had no immediate intention to buy another leather jacket, but this beauty was far too gorgeous to resist… And even though I have quite a large jacket (and leather) collection – I don’t actually own a black biker version. I have been looking for the perfect one for quite some time now – and after seeing various ones I’ve wanted (sadly, Balenciaga, Burberry Prorsum, YSL and Joseph – aren’t quite within my price bracket) – I think I might have found it.

Made from super soft leather, quilted arms, silver buckle detailing – this one certainly fits the brief I was after, and will just get better with age (and certainly more affordable).

The only thing I wasn’t initially happy with, were the wide folded flaps on the front; I wanted them more pinned back. So when I went back this weekend to visit my family, my mum (who is a wonderful dressmaker) managed to stitch them, so it’s now near enough perfect!
