Ok – I hope you’re not too fed up with my endless Zara purchases yet!? I literally went in just before my holiday, and just picked up so many fab pieces which I adore. One of my favourites is this super cute quilted floral bomber from the TRF department. I love a bomber, and this version looks super lux (and far more expensive than it’s price tag).

The print is fab and a real statement piece. I wore it on our last night out with some black skinny jeans and heels – but I can’t wait to wear it with my denim shorts and some sandals when London gets a bit warmer (which is hopefully very soon!)

I’ve been pretty much obsessed with this beauty of a dress from Zara (where else?!) ever since I laid my eyes on it. It’s very Mary Katrantzou-esque – whom I adore – and with the quality of the medium-thick cotton, makes it the perfect dress to wear during the day with bejewelled sandals to the office, or even on a night out, with some fab heels and a black biker jacket. In other words, a very versatile dress. Granted, it’s not long – but that’s compensated with its ‘box-fit’, t-shirt sleeves and high neck.

Think I’ve just found the perfect summer dress!

Ok, I’m back! For you guys who’ve been following me on Instagram (@anneliwillis), have probably seen all my pictures from my holiday in Split in Croatia – an absolute paradise! As I mentioned in my previous blog post – we went there to source our venue and many other things in preparation for our wedding there next May – and within the first day, we found our dream venue – SO exciting! In my opinion, Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, as parts of it are still so untouched and the scenery is incredibly dramatic. We’re already planning our next holiday there for later on this summer to do some more exploring and island hopping!

Back to my outfit… I bought a load of new summer pieces in the days leading up to my holiday – all of which will be shown in a holiday wardrobe diary day-by-day. This outfit was taken on the first day, when we were on the venue hunt; and being an overcast day, I wore my new lightweight cotton jacket from Vero Moda. It’s so beautiful, and slightly Isabel Marant-ish, with it’s embroidery, colour and fit. Love it!

What a beautiful sunny weekend in London! I’m on day 2 of the juicing, and boy, it ain’t easy. I’ve not exactly chosen the best weekend or week to start it on, with a busy day out on Saturday spent with the lovely Natalie, a Sunday brunch with friends today (ah the temptations!) and several events next week. But hey, when is ever a good time?

Anyways, back to my outfit; wearing my new 100% cashmere neon pink cardigan from J.Crew. I love the colour (basically, I’m a fan of anything neon) – and teamed it here with a super casual weekend look; my grey skinnies, simple white tee, ballerina flats and my trusted YSL Cabas. Perfect off-duty style!

The sun is out! And what better way to celebrate than bringing out the light denim and loafers? You just can’t go wrong with a great denim shirt. I have yet to have perfected the denim-on-denim trend – or rather, yet to have ventured out with it. I personally like to wear denim together with leather or black jeans, then rather add on some ‘pop’ colours to make the outfit more exciting, and less casual.

1 more day until the weekend! I start my 7-day juice cleanse on Saturday – will let you know how it goes!

[NEW IN] London Rebel Gold Leather Ballerinas

Spring is in the air, and my love for flats and ballerinas in all colours and combination, is revived. First ballerina pair in? These gorgeous gold leather flats bought at TK Maxx (a great British designer discount outlet) from London Rebel.

The first thing which is essential when searching for good flat shoes, is the shape. I am particular about many things when it comes to my own style; one of them being the shape of my shoes. I never go for anything too bulky or heavy – always with a slim line/almond shape fit. I like my feet to look petite, and not being the centre of attention (this is excluding killer heels – I never mind these to be colourful or ‘loud’ – yet I also like these pretty slim, hence strappy sandals are my favourite).

So, I guess I just let you in on one of my many particular and ‘weird’ things I have about my fashion (I am sure there is more to come!). Now over to the main subject of this post - the gold ballerina beauties. Such a simple pair of shoes, yet effective and super versatile. Wear them with a relaxed outfit or a blazer, add on some great jewellery and a statement bag, and it’s the perfect casual office/weekend outfit!

Loving my fab new monochrome sunglasses from Zara (can we just talk about how amazing Zara is this season?). I was pretty happy with myself that I resisted the temptation to pick up anything else other than these. Great shape and style – going to be a strong contender within my sunglasses collection (and a bargain alternative to these ones from Illesteva, which I’ve been lusting after all season). Yes, granted, I do like classic and clean shapes for longevity (like in this post) – but when I want some fun, who can say no to a pair priced at under twenty pounds? A steal.

You all know I’m weak for a lil’ leopard. In just about every variation, colour and style. It’s such a versatile print (that goes for all animal print in my opinion) – great to lift an otherwise dark and muted outfit. This shirt from Selected Femme, in 100% viscose, is a great shirt and fit – worn her with some leather and booties, but having every intention in wearing it with some high waisted denim flares now that the sun’s out!
