[FASHION] Vintage Suede & Shearling Gilet
I’M BACK! My beloved Mac (basically, my life) has been fixed, and I can’t wait to show you all my new bits!
A new favourite in my wardrobe is this suede and shearling gilet I bought in a vintage boutique from the North Lanes in Brighton (£38). I have been scouring ebay and etsy for a shearling gilet since last winter. It was love at first sight when I found this one – perfect colour, fit and quality.
I love a bit of shearling combined with a casual outfit. I have my favourite shearling scarf from Karl Donaghue which I will be no doubt bringing out in a few weeks. This one will be a great alternative to wear over jumpers at the office – or over a fitted leather jacket in the late autumn.
I am wearing it with bobbled jumper from H&M, jeans from ONLY, turquoise Converse, bag from Chanel (similar here) and sunglasses from AJ Morgan (ASOS).
[FASHION] Vintage Rose Gold Key Charm Bracelet
New in to my ever growing arm candy collection, is this beautiful vintage rose gold key charm bracelet. I picked it up at one of my favourite vintage stalls at Portobello Market in Notting Hill (£35). I love it so much already! I especially like the combination of clean silver with this antique and subdued rose gold tint.
I am wearing it with a gold plated skull chain bracelet from Etsy, silver and emerald bracelet from Tiffany’s, silver ‘Peace’ bracelet from ChloBo silver and charm bracelet from Tiffany’s.

I love being in the country. So nice escaping the city! If only I had brought appropriate clothing. Leather ballerinas and denim cut-offs was maybe not the best idea…

[FASHION] #3 Second Hand Finds: Wide Patent Belt
Last but not least, my #3 second hand purchase was this wide leather patent belt (£1.50). I’ve been lusting for one since seeing the Céline SS12 campaign featuring a super-wide cream belt. I have so many small waist sized ones, so I really wanted a wide style to wear with skinny jeans on the hip. Such a great statement piece. Now, the hunt continues for a coloured/cream version…

[FASHION] #2 Second Hand Finds: LBD
The #2 purchase from my second hand finds was this perfect daytime LBD (little black dress, £3.50) made from soft cotton and viscose. It’s super feminine; with an enhanced waist and cocoon shaped bottom part. I love the quality and casual style of it, and can foresee it being my fail safe black dress for both work and pleasure.
I am wearing it with a slim-line black patent belt from Filippa K, adding some structure to the look.

What’s up with this miserable, rainy weather in London? Brr. Sorry for the grainy pic, I was in a mad rush this morning!
I am wearing my fave Paige Premium Denim denim flares, vintage leopard shirt, Acne Pistol booties, cargo jacket from Quiksilver woman, Zara shawl and new bracelets.
[FASHION] Vintage Shell Pearl Earrings
I picked up these vintage earrings at a second hand shop in Chiswick High Street for £5. They feel very Isabel Marant SS12 (and very FW12 as well, judging by her new collection). I’ve always had a soft spot for ethnic and bohemian trends with flares, shaggy vests, ponchos and beaded accessories. My wardrobe is quite schizophrenic actually – with blazers and shirts (a lot of black) – as well as fringed Indian vests and Peruvian patterns. An example being this aztec jacket I am wearing above – my all-time favourite purchase from Zara (bought in the sale in Barcelona for 19 euros, 2008), which I have worn religiously every season. Love it.
I am wearing jeans and jacket by Zara, grey jumper from Topshop, bag from Balenciaga and gold eye shadow from MAC.
[FASHION] Vintage Pink Heart Earrings
I told you I had a thing for hearts! I picked up these in town today from a little vintage boutique in Chiswick for £15. They are made from glass stone, a brass back and are just so cute.
In danger of them being ‘too much’ I am wearing them with an all black outfit, and just a touch of color with my navy suede clutch. I’m off to dinner at Yauatcha tonight, the best Dim Sum in town, with my sister and her fiancee who are visiting from Oslo. Can’t wait!
