I have to admit I was rather pessimistic to the name change of Yves Saint Laurent – to just Saint Laurent – when I first heard about it; YSL is just so iconic with it’s signature ‘Y’. However, I must say, I rather like (love!) the new season from chief designer Hedi Slimane. The collection is more edgier than we’ve seen in the past, yet remaining it’s classic and signature ladylike elements (although, it will always be YSL in my heart.)
